GAME Rules

• NFHS​

  • All Special Teams are live rush with the exception of 6u, 7u, and 8u punt​

  • No coaches on the field at any age group except for 6u

Amendments​​​

• PAT Scoring

  • Kick = 2 points

  • Run or pass= 1 point

​

• Overtime

  • Overtime- 4 plays starting from the 10 yard line​

    • Both teams have an opportunity on offense.​

    • Extra point must be attempted after each score

  • Overtime #2 - Sudden Death

    • Coin toss to determine who wants to be on offense or defense. ​

    • 1 play from the 5 yard line to determine the winner

• Clock (Updated College Football Clock)

  • 10 minute game clock

  • 10 minute half time

  • 10 minutes between each game

  • ​The game clock will run after first downs (as it does in the NFL), except for the last two minutes of each half.​

  • A team cannot call consecutive timeouts.

  • Untimed downs will only occur as  needed in the second and fourth quarters. If there is a penalty at the end of the first or third quarter, it will carry over into the next quarter.

  • Running clock is 28 points

    • Clock goes back to normal if score goes under 28 points​

• Bonus Rules​​​

  • Colored Visors Allowed​

  • Wristbands allowed

  • Backplates allowed

  • Celebrations Allowed

    • Taunting and/or touching another player not allowed​

  • Zero tolerance for fighting.

MEDIA Rules

• • No outside media on the field of play. All video/camera work must be done from the Endzone or on the sideline.​

  • Video/Camera men are NOT allowed behind the QB.

  • NWBFC verified media are the only ones allowed on the field during game play

• All players must be certified on Zorts. Face to face verification will also occur before the start of each game.

• 6u cutoff July 1st

• 7u cutoff July 1st

• 8u cutoff July 1st

• 9u cutoff July 1st

• 10u cutoff July 1st

• 11u cutoff July 1st

• 12u cutoff July 1st
