Track & Field
Season: April- July
HEIR Track & Field has established itself as one of the premier track programs in the Northwest. We have multiple state champion competitors in our program as well leaders in the Nation in specific events. Although we are an elite track club, we still focus on development. The athlete who is a first timer will have success and continued growth just like the athlete who is a a 5 year veteran.
In 2023 we had 21 different athletes qualify for nationals which was held at the University of Oregon. Many of those athletes were first time Track & Field Athletes when they joined our club. We will continue to build upon that success each year.
USATF AGE RULES
– Age groups are set by the USA Track and Field Association not HEIR
– All events may not be offered at each track meet, all dependent on meet organizers
– USATF rules prohibit an athlete from moving up and down in age division to compete
Runners age is classified by the current season's calendar year. Example, if your child is 9, but turns 10 in November then he is considered 10u.
